Professor Bambale received his Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Human Resource Management from Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM), Malaysia in 2013, a Master of Science (M.Sc) in Management specialising in Human Resource Management from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria (ABU) in 2016, a Master of Science (M.Sc) in Economics with a focus on Public Finance from Bayero University, Kano (BUK) in 2007, a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Marketing from Bayero University, Kano in 1991, and a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) in Business Administration (General Management) from Bayero University, Kano in 1989.

With over 35 years of experience in teaching, research, and consulting, Professor Bambale began his career with the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) at Union Bank Plc, Kano (1989–1990), before joining Bayero University, Kano (BUK) in 1990 as a lecturer — a position he has held to date. He served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the Department of Human Resource Management, Universiti Utara Malaysia (2011–2012), and was appointed Head of the Department of Business Administration and Entrepreneurship at Bayero University, Kano in 2014. He held Sabbatical and Visiting Teaching Appointments at Gombe State University and Yusuf Maitama Sule University, Kano (2016–2018), and in 2019 served as Executive Director, Technical Services at the Nigerian Communications Satellite Limited (NIGCOMSAT), Abuja.
